Great Entrepreneurs is pleased to announce The Top 50 Business Leaders of New Jersey for 2022. This year’s awardees have contributed to many factors within the state’s economy. They are job creators and community leaders. Many of this year’s awardees lead in some of New Jersey's largest industries including financial services, transportation and logistics, and life sciences. Their passion and commitment to scaling their business has set the stage to enable and support growth in the state and across the country.

Among this year’s awardees are Brett Paddock, President and CEO of Titanium Industries, who uses his decades of experience to guide the global leader in specialty metals supply solutions for the aerospace, medical, industrial, and oil and gas markets; Jason Parker, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of K-9 Resorts Franchising, who has dedicated himself to providing lucrative dog daycare franchise opportunities across the country; and Seth Levy, Chief Operating Officer and EVP of Sordoni Construction, who crafted the company’s client focused mentality on providing meticulous services, along with delivering projects on time and within budget at a high level of quality.

1. Fa Park
Founder & CEO, Color Street

In 2020, he earned the title of an EY New Jersey Entrepreneur Of The Year. Park earned a master's degree from Chicago College of Music and an undergraduate degree in music and opera from Hanyang University.

 

2. Brett Paddock
President & CEO, Titanium Industries

Brett Paddock is the President and CEO of Titanium Industries. T.I. is the global leader in specialty metals supply solutions for the aerospace, medical, industrial, and oil and gas markets. They are the largest independent distributor of specialty metals stocked throughout their global service center network. They maintain and continue to expand their state-of-the-art processing and near net shape capabilities, such as water jet cutting, saw cutting, and shearing. They provide tailored supply chain solutions through its T.I. Materials Management methodologies and Program Management competencies. T.I. continuously focuses on lean and process improvements while maintaining AS9100 and ISO9001 certifications at all locations worldwide. Their award-winning sales team has been providing dependable quality driven solutions to their customers since 1972. Paddock has 31 years of experience. He began his career in 1991.

Before joining Titanium Industries, Paddock was a director of operations at Samuel Grossi and Sons and before that a chief engineer at Helmark Steel. Paddock graduated from Lehigh University with an MS in engineering.

 

3. Anthony Rinaldi
President & CEO, The Rinaldi Group

Anthony Rinaldi began his professional career 34 years ago. Today, he is the President and CEO of The Rinaldi Group. The Rinaldi Group is a full-service general contractor and construction management firm, building upon its foundation and tradition of self-performance in both the public and private industry sectors alike. Its reputation for performance and execution, practicality with ingenuity, timing, and efficiency, quality, professionalism, and safety has grown the firm financially strong and healthy with unlimited capabilities in an industry today more competitive than it has ever been before. Their diversity reached all branches of construction, and their capabilities are endless.

Rinaldi first got his start in 1988 as a project manager and project superintendent at HRH Construction. From there, he went on to DeFilippis Construction Corporation, before eventually rising to become president and COO at Crain Construction Company, his most recent position prior to founding The Rinaldi Group. Rinaldi graduated from Lehigh University with an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering.

 

5. Paul Keimig
CEO, Chemical Resources

Paul Keimig is the CEO of Chemical Resources. Chemical Resources is a leading provider of polymer materials, custom compounds, and solutions to a diverse range of industries. With locations in Princeton, NJ and Chesapeake, VA, their knowledge of formulations, compounding technology, along with a highly networked distribution system, make them the answer to a company's resin needs. They have expertise in medical-grade applications, and they apply those same principles to everything they produce. Keimig has 37 years of experience. He began his career in 1985.

Before joining Chemical Resources, Keimig was a senior account representative at Solvay Polymers and before that, a sales representative at Union Carbide. Keimig earned an undergraduate degree in chemistry from Rutgers University.

6. Jim Rice
Co-Founder & CEO, Nautilus Solar Energy

Jim Rice began his professional career 39 years ago. Today, he is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Nautilus Solar Energy. Nautilus Solar Energy is a leading owner-operator of solar projects focused on large industrial and community solar markets located throughout the United States.  A pioneer in solar energy since 2006, Nautilus is committed to creating a clean, sustainable future by offering an equitable and affordable renewable energy choice. Through its Community Solar initiative, Nautilus is making solar energy available to a broader marketplace, including low to middle income households and unrated businesses that wish to reduce their carbon footprint and utility bills. Nautilus is wholly owned by Power Sustainable, a global multi-platform alternative asset manager with a long-term investment approach focused on sustainable strategies.

Rice first got his start in 1982 as a VP of energy and power group at Goldman Sachs. From there, he went on to J.P. Morgan, before eventually rising to become a managing director at Riverstone Holdings LLC, his most recent position prior to joining Nautilus Solar Energy. Rice graduated from The Wharton School with an MBA in finance and marketing and from United States Naval Academy with an undergraduate degree in mathematics.

 

10. Seth Levy
Chief Operating Officer & EVP, Sordoni Construction

Seth Levy is the Chief Operating Officer & Executive Vice President of Sordoni Construction. He first joined the company in 2006 as a vice president. Sordoni Construction is a client-centric construction management firm committed to constructing iconic properties. Their unique approach combines big project capabilities and hands-on, personalized service to deliver construction projects that are stunning to experience, a true pleasure to build, and a brilliant investment in the future. They firmly believe that fine construction expertise entails a nuanced and masterful approach to everything from technique and materials, to their relationships with clients and craftspeople. Independent for over a century, they understand how creativity, craftsmanship, and functionality work together in the long term and how to achieve the most powerful, beautiful, enduring result from any given budget.

Previously, Levy was a project manager at Skanska. He graduated with a degree in civil engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

 

11. Jason Parker
Co-Founder & Co-CEO, K-9 Resorts Franchising

Jason Parker is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of K-9 Resorts Franchising, LLC. Designed, developed, and marketed K-9 Resorts concept as the purveyor of luxury dog care facilities in the Northeast. Parker is an accomplished professional and small business owner with over sixteen years of comprehensive management experience, starting at the age of twelve years old and now one of the youngest franchisors in America. He has an outstanding proven history of managing projects from initial conception, including development of business model, implementation of all aspects of business growth, including long-term financial management strategies, human resource management, marketing, and promotion.

Parker is also a nationally renowned speaker, considered an expert in the pet care industry, and was recognized by Congress for outstanding and invaluable service to the community.

 

13. Leonard Cordaro
President, Premier Die Casting Company

Leonard Cordaro is the President of Premier Die Casting Company. He first joined the company in 1972. Premier Die Casting Company is privately held and specializes in high pressure aluminum die casting, miniature zinc die casting, secondary finishing and finished assemblies. The company has been in business for 65 years, beginning as a tool and die shop and transforming over the years into a respected, finished goods supplier. Computer technology is common throughout the plant, starting with integrated management information systems, engineering design, die cast set up, analysis, and production. Premier Die Casting Company also has the capacity to add value to the die castings. This is accomplished with state of the art "work cells" that handle machining, cleaning, assembly, and pressure testing. Premier prides itself with the ability to provide finished goods to its customers. Their vision for the future is to appear as an extension of its customers’ development and manufacturing groups.

Cordaro earned an MS in management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering, advanced thermodynamics, and fluid modeling from the University of Notre Dame.

15. Tracy Jarman
President & CEO, Aquatrols

Tracy Jarman began her professional career 40 years ago. Today, she is the President and CEO of Aquatrols. Aquatrols is the world leader in the development of cutting-edge soil surfactants and other specialty technologies that maximize the use of water and inputs in the agricultural, professional turfgrass, and horticultural markets. Aquatrols is a specialty chemical company engaged in the discovery, development, and commercialization of uniquely effective products and formulation technologies. These technologies provide water, energy, labor and other resource savings for the turf, ornamental, agricultural, and snowmaking industries worldwide.

Jarman graduated from Rowan University with an MBA and from Boston College with an undergraduate degree in economics.

 

17. Michael Fischette
Founder & CEO, Concord Engineering Group

Michael Fischette is the Founder & CEO of Concord Engineering Group. Concord Engineering Group, Inc. is a full-service engineering, energy consulting, construction management and commissioning firm. Specializing in creative solutions for facilities and power plants, Fischette has led the company since 1989. The firm has developed and implemented a broad range of projects from nuclear and combined cycle power plants to high performance buildings, sustainable design, and energy efficiency technologies. Fischette has been dedicated to the further development of many energy policies and technologies, setting the groundwork for the country's future standards in energy supply and use.

In 2011, Fischette was appointed to the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities’ Energy Master Plan Work Group by then President Lee Solomon and continues to be on the forefront of developing innovative financing and incentive solutions that shape energy policy and energy infrastructure design. In 2009, he spearheaded the development of the first Energy Bank in New Jersey for the Burlington County Bridge Commission. Previously, Fischette was a design and test engineer in the power plant industry. He graduated from Rutgers University with an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering.

21. Hallie Satz
CEO & Managing Partner, High Road Press

Hallie Satz began her professional career 41 years ago. Today, she is the CEO and Managing Partner of High Road Press. HighRoad Press is an award winning G7 certified printing company located in the Meadowlands area of NJ and an affiliate web press partner in PA. The NJ facility of 40,000 sq. ft. includes prepress, retouching, sheet fed, digital printing as well as a full-service bindery with die-cutting, fulfillment, and mailing. They're in-house capabilities allow them to provide a variety of print services including brochures, marketing materials and kits, catalogs, direct mail packages, magazine inserts, promotional packages, pharmaceutical inserts and literature, posters, pads, coffee table books and many other categories of print. Besides installing new equipment, having a great location, and providing fantastic pricing, their competent and diverse staff is committed to an environment of best practices in all areas of production and customer service.

In 1981 Satz served as a president at Barton Press, Earth Color. She graduated from Ithaca College and from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

 

23. Bill Wang
President, Amergy Solar

Bill Wang is the President of Amergy Solar. Amergy Solar is an award winning full-service solar company. Prior to joining Amergy Solar, Wang was a government relations expert and grant writer with gHealth Solutions. Wang graduated from Seton Hall University with an MS in molecular biology.

28. Selwyn Swimer
President, Automatiq

Selwyn Swimer is the President of Automatiq. He first joined the company in 2002. Automatiq is a third-party logistics and distribution company. Automatiq specializes in large volume pick & pack, drop shipping, roll out, and rework operations. They ship hundreds of thousands of products weekly, for their clients to all the major retailers. The product line they ship ranges from watches, garments, accessories, and personal care items. They have state of the art operational systems, and facilities in place that support high speed picking, packing, and shipment of orders to both business and consumer destinations. They have developed this revolutionary new semi-automated method of picking that will cut costs in half. They do labeling, quality control, return order processing, and even repairs or assembly for their clients’ products.

Previously, Swimer was a president at Telecraft Industries.

 

29. Steve Rush
CEO, Carbon Express

Steve Rush is the CEO of Carbon Express. Carbon Express, headquartered in Wharton, NJ, transports liquid bulk products across the United States and into Canada. Established in 1983, the company is a leader in the transport of lubricant base oils and other petroleum products. Their value proposition is simple, they believe in serving their customers first and foremost. Their goal is perfect service and every load on time. They track their on-time performance and view all service failures as serious disconnects to their customers. Carbon Express investigates every service failure to discover the root cause, accountability, and corrective action. Rush has 51 years of experience. He began his career in 1971.

Previously, Rush was a member of the United States Air Force. In the Air Force, he became an Air to Ground operator and fell in love with the position. Rush attributes his military experience to his success within the trucking industry.

 

31. Joseph Mastrull
President, Printech

Joseph Mastrull is the President of Printech. He first joined the company in 1991. Printech offers small businesses everything they need to market their business. They provide high quality marketing materials, creative design, mailing services as well as promotional products, wide-format signs, banners, and posters. Mastrull graduated with a degree in industrial studies and business from Montclair State University.

 

32. Judson Kleinman
CEO & Founder, Corporate Essentials

Before joining Corporate Essentials, Kleinman was a president and CEO at Coffee Service and More, a division of Wechsler Coffee, and before that a branch manager at Aramark. Kleinman graduated from SUNY Oneonta with an undergraduate degree in business and economics.

33. Christopher Amato

Christopher Amato began his professional career over years ago. Today, he is the President and CEO of CMM Custom Homes. Since 1983, CMM has been designing and building custom homes in prized Monmouth and Ocean County communities including Avon-by-the-Sea, Bay Head, Belmar, Bradley Beach, Brick, Manasquan, Point Pleasant Beach, Sea Girt, Spring Lake, Wall, and others. Amato earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Southern Maine.

 

36. Georg Bartosch
President, Intech

Georg Bartosch began his professional career over years ago. Today, he is the President and Founder of Intech. Intech Corporation, based in northern New Jersey, was founded in 1983. They specialize in the design and manufacture of precision machined, self-lubricating plastic gears, rollers and cam followers made of non-hygroscopic Intech Power-Core™ material. Bartosch first got his start in 1973 as a packaging engineer at Procter & Gamble. From there, he went on to American Cyanamid Co., before eventually rising to become a finance manager for the agriculture division at American Cyanamid, his most recent position prior to founding Intech. Bartosch graduated from Columbia Business School with an MBA and from Technische Universitaet Darmstadt, Germany with an MS in mechanical engineering.

 

39. Richard Abramo
President, Code Environmental Services

Richard Abramo began his professional career 36 years ago. Today, he is the President of Code Environmental Services. Code Environmental Services provides turn-key remedial and environmental construction services to a repeat customer base that includes Fortune 500 corporations, national engineering firms, government agencies, developers, construction managers, and major utility companies. They have an established reputation for responsive, cost-effective contracting. Their portfolio includes a wide range of large-scale, complex projects safely completed at Superfund, Brownfields, MGP, industrial, commercial, and residential sites throughout USEPA Regions 2 and 3. Work is often performed at active facilities in densely populated, urban areas. Abramo first got his start in 1986 as a director of operations at ENSCO Environmental Services. Abramo graduated from St. Francis College with an undergraduate degree in biology.

 

41. Jonathan Shaw

44. Jennifer Tankleff
President, IWEISS

Jennifer Tankleff is the President of IWEISS. She has been involved with the company since early 1994 working from the bottom up. Beginning with an administrative position, she quickly worked her way up to production manager where she oversaw the drapery procurement, fabrication, and designer collaboration for over 300 shows and countless performing arts centers, university theaters, films, and museums.

Tankleff became VP and began to coordinate the drapery and installation divisions of the company while integrating new technology into the business. In her current role, Tankleff oversees many major projects directly and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company. With 120 years of experience in drapery manufacturing combined with the development of their align rigging and via automation products along with expert staff, IWEISS is the solution to making drapery visions become a reality.

 

45. Jim Inzalaco
President, CFO & Owner, Core Technology Solutions

Jim Inzalaco began his professional career 37 years ago. Today, he is the President, CFO and Owner of Core Technology Solutions. Core Technology Solutions (CTS), is a human experience company. They lead their industry with superior-class services designed for digital transformation. Their philosophy is to lead deployment and service initiatives by understanding, and encompassing, the UX and customer journey their clients are trying to deliver. Inzalaco first got his start in 1985 as an accounting manager at Dennison Mfg. From there, he went on to The Ultimate Corp, before eventually rising to become a controller at Datatec Systems, his most recent position prior to founding Core Technology Solutions. Inzalaco graduated from Rutgers University with an undergraduate degree in accounting and finance.

 

47. Robert Feuerstein
President & CEO, Rema Foods

Robert Feuerstein is the President and CEO of Rema Foods. Rema Foods is a leading global food importer and supplier focused on providing unique specialty items as well as broader commodity-based products. Privately held and family owned, Rema Foods, founded in 1964, has been a leading supplier to some of the largest restaurant, foodservice, retail, and manufacturing companies throughout the United States and around the world. Feuerstein has 36 years of experience. He began his career in 1986.

Before joining Rema Foods, Feuerstein was an AVP at Drexel Burnham Lambert. He graduated from Columbia Business School with an MBA in finance and from The Johns Hopkins University with an undergraduate degree in economics.
